Her acclaimed debut album Beautiful Dreams (2023) climbed to #3 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Album Chart, with support from BBC Radio 6 Music’s Craig Charles, who included her in his Trunk of Funk compilation album, BBC Radio 2’s Trevor Nelson, who named her among his Top Tunes of 2024, and as a Jazz FM A-list favourite.
A captivating live performer, Acantha has appeared on CBS Saturday Morning, delivered a standout performance at SXSW in Austin, and when performing at the House of Blues in New Orleans, drew praise from Anderson .Paak. In July 2025, she was a special guest at the Barbican’s Memphis Soul Revue, performing alongside the Queen of Memphis Soul Carla Thomas, producer Boo Mitchell, and members of Al Green’s legendary band.
